About Me

Hi, I'm Kuhu.

I am a curious, compassionate, and globally minded student who enjoys learning from both people and experiences. Over the years, I have actively participated in Model United Nations conferences, which have helped me develop confidence in public speaking, critical thinking, and understanding diverse perspectives.

Beyond academics, I value meaningful community engagement. During my internship with a non-profit organization serving senior citizens, I assisted elderly individuals with banking services, document updates, and virtual group activities. The experience strengthened my sense of empathy and showed me how small acts of support can make a significant difference in people's lives.

Travel has played an important role in shaping my worldview. From exploring Europe with my school to traveling independently with my family across different countries and cultures, I have learned to adapt, appreciate diversity, and embrace new experiences with an open mind.

I believe that growth comes from stepping outside one's comfort zone, whether through leadership opportunities, service initiatives, travel, or collaboration with others. As I prepare for the next chapter of my academic journey, I look forward to continuing to learn, contribute, and make a positive impact wherever I go.

Why Psychology

My interest in psychology comes from a genuine curiosity about people—their thoughts, emotions, motivations, and behaviors. Through my interactions with individuals from diverse backgrounds, participation in Model United Nations, community service with senior citizens, and extensive travel experiences, I have become increasingly fascinated by how life experiences shape human behavior and decision-making.

I am particularly drawn to psychology because it combines scientific inquiry with empathy and human connection. I hope to deepen my understanding of the mind and use that knowledge to positively impact individuals and communities. For me, psychology is not just an academic subject; it is a way of understanding people, fostering meaningful relationships, and contributing to a more compassionate society.
